Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 20, 2026

Snaptate (“Snaptate,” “we,” “us”) operates snaptate.com and provides AI-powered photo enhancement for real estate listings. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to anyone who visits the site or uses the service.

1. Information we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name, and profile photo from your Google account. We do not receive your Google password.

When you upload photos, those images are stored in Google Cloud Storage in a private bucket scoped to your account.

When you pay for credits or a subscription, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive a transaction record (amount, status, last four digits of the card, billing country); we never see or store your full card number.

We collect basic usage information automatically — pages visited, listings created, and photos enhanced — through Vercel Analytics and our own product analytics. This data lets us understand how the service is used and where it breaks.

2. How we use information

  • To deliver the service: store your listings and photos, run AI enhancement, and return results.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription or credits.
  • To respond when you contact support, sales, or billing.
  • To monitor service health, fix bugs, and improve the product.
  • To send transactional emails (receipts, team invitations, password-free sign-in confirmations). We do not send marketing email unless you opt in.

3. AI processing of your photos

To enhance a photo, we send the image and a text prompt to a third-party AI provider — currently Google Vertex AI (Gemini) or OpenAI. The provider returns an enhanced image which we store in your private bucket.

Under those providers’ API terms, inputs and outputs from their paid API are not used to train their general-purpose models. We do not grant permission for your photos to be used for model training.

We do not sell your photos, and we do not use them to train any model of our own.

4. How long we keep your data

We keep your listings, photos, and account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete a listing, the associated photos are removed from active storage; backups may persist for up to 30 days before being purged.

If you want your account and data deleted, email support@snaptate.com. We process verified deletion requests within 30 days.

5. Who we share data with

We share data only with vendors that help us run the service:

  • Google — authentication, Cloud Storage, Firestore, Vertex AI.
  • OpenAI — alternate enhancement provider.
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Vercel — web hosting and analytics.
  • Email providers — to deliver support replies, invoices, and team invitations.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Snaptate or our users.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain uses. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what we collect and to request deletion.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@snaptate.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to measure aggregate usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can clear cookies through your browser at any time; doing so will sign you out.

8. Security

We use industry-standard practices — encrypted transport (HTTPS), encrypted storage at rest, scoped service accounts, and least-privilege access for our team. No system is perfectly secure; please notify us immediately at support@snaptate.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

9. Children

Snaptate is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. International users

Snaptate is operated from the United States. If you use the service from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and in regions where our cloud providers operate.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
